Beautiful Little Girl!

Lydia is growing up so fast. This week she has been so good at holding her head up. She sits on Dad's lap and just looks around the room. It is so cute to see her so alert. She is talking more. The other day she was "yelling" at Mom and Dad. She wasn't mad or anything; she just wanted to be sure that she was heard.

To Nebraska

So it is official. We are headed to Columbus, Nebraska for our next rotation. Chad went to a business meeting at the first of January. I think he spent more time working the people from Sandy for our third year than he did securing his place in Nebraska for the next year. There wasn't much competition for the Nebraska spot. I mean, who wants to live in Nebraska? Well, we do. I'm excited for the cheaper cost of living, the smaller town, and being closer to Utah. Chad is also excited about the prospects of the position there. We're not sure when we leave yet...somewhere between the end of May and the beginning of June. We'll keep you posted.
We drove through Nebraska on our way to North Carolina. Lovely, isn't it? It is home of Arbor Day though. Looks like they really need the trees.

My Blessing Day

We blessed Lydia in Utah on December 30th. Chad gave her the blessing. It was really neat and she didn't cry or fuss at all. Thanks to everyone who battled the snow to be there.

Hold Me

Just hold me! Lydia definitely got her share of cuddles while we were in Utah.

Christmas in Utah

We had our own little Christmas at home before flying out to Utah. It was fun.

Lydia on Christmas day in Utah. Don't you love her Christmas bows and socks?

Asleep under the Christmas tree.

It's cold in Utah! That's why we bundled Lydia up in her "snowsuit" before leaving the house.
